Red Tailed Hawk Getting Ready to Grab its Prey

Red Tailed Hawk Getting Ready to Grab its Prey

Info about the Red Tailed Hawk:
The red-tailed hawk is one of the most widespread and recognizable birds of prey in North America. Known for its broad wings and distinctive reddish-brown tail, this raptor soars high in the sky while searching for small mammals, birds, and reptiles. It has excellent vision and often hunts from perches or while gliding. Red-tailed hawks are adaptable and can thrive in a variety of habitats, including deserts, forests, and urban areas. Their piercing call is commonly used in movies to represent all raptors, regardless of species.
